The Resurrection of Jesus Christ is the most important event that has ever transpired in the history of the earth. What does it mean to you, today? What will it mean to you in 1000 years or 100,000 years? How can you know that Christ actually resurrected? The answer will set you free!
HE IS NOT HERE: FOR HE IS RISEN, AS HE SAID.
COME, SEE THE PLACE WHERE THE LORD LAY.
The empty tomb in that Jerusalem garden is a reminder that when the women who so lovingly cleaned, anointed, and wrapped his body came to observe the tomb, His body was gone, and in His place were two angels.
Peter and John and the other Apostles and disciples testified that Jesus Christ not only lived and died for us but that He also rose from the dead the third day and that he appeared to them subsequently on multiple occasions. They testified that he resurrected so that all mankind might do the same.
Moreover, the Apostle Paul declared, 1 Corinthians 15:3-8
3. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4. And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
5 And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:
6 After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.
7 After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.
8 And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.
Because Jesus Christ is the Savior of all mankind it is possible for each of us to live again with God, forever, after this life, if we have sufficient faith in Him to repent of our sins, accept his Atoning Sacrifice, be baptized in His name, by one having authority from God, keep His commandments and receive the Holy Ghost, which will witness of the truth of His word and his kingdom.
